Michelle Knight is an attorney registered with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution to mediate general civil and domestic cases.  As a Magistrate Judge since 2004, Michelle has made decisions in hundreds of civil cases including contracts, personal injury, auto collisions, construction, debt collection, landlord/tenant, and small business disputes.  In addition, Michelle served by designation as a Superior Court Judge regularly hearing the family violence calendar for several years which gives her extensive experience in resolving custody, child support, visitation, and property division issues. Michelle has training for the 2007 child support guidelines.  Prior to her time on the bench Michelle was in private practice and later served as in house counsel to TDI, Inc. and Global Consulting Services, Inc.

Michelle received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Auburn University in 1987, and her law degree from Western New England College School of Law in 1990.  She also attended the University of Madrid in Madrid, Spain.

Michelle lives in Gwinnett County with her husband and two children.
